Senior Business Objects Developer

We are currently looking for a Senior Database Developer with Business Objects experience to join our growing team. The developer will be responsible for handling reports and analysis using Business Objects. Developers will also handle installation, configuration, and management of all the components of Business Objects including Business Objects Reporting, Designer and Supervisor. Developers will create Universes for different functionality and create reports using: queries, slice and dice, drill down, cross tab, master detail, and/or formulas. Other responsibilities include designing, developing, and implementing data warehouses/data marts for a variety of Fortune 1000 clients using other BI tools, ETL Tools, and databases such as Oracle, DB2, and/or SQL Server.

Requirements:

• 5+ years of IT experience working with data solutions.
• 2+ years of experience with Business Objects Designer, Supervisor, and Reporter version v 5.x or higher.
• Solid experience developing applications with Oracle, SQL Server, and/or UDB DB2.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

  Desired skills:

• Database programming, design, or modeling experience
• Data extraction and manipulation experience
• Experience with ETL Tools (such as Ab Initio, Ascential, Data Integrator, or Informatica)
• Experience in data replication, extraction, loading and cleansing
• Reporting and OLAP experience with other BI Tools including Brio or Cognos
• Business Objects Enterprise Certified Professional (BECP), Business Objects Accredited Report Designer or Business Objects Accredited System Administrator desirable
• Exposure to Business Objects XI a plus
• Experience with Business Objects SDK and/or WebIntelligence SDK a plus
